Emily Dilger

Dr. Dilger works for Ignited Education and builds diverse programs, develops strategic partnerships, and ensures the organization meets the needs of various schools, teachers, and underserved students. With a PhD in neuroscience from Virginia Commonwealth University and a BS in biochemistry from Mary Washington College, she fell in love with science education and communication while completing her PhD. Her experience includes leading a STEM education coalition at the California Academy of Sciences, managing BrainFacts.org, and coaching scientists in creative science communication.
