Being allowed to engage in scientific thinking regularly has allowed me to maintain my passion for the subject.
Being reminded of how science looks in the true research setting, during the exploration phase, has allowed me to think about how the high school science classroom is and is not preparing students to work and think in this way.
Fun fact: I was homecoming princess my senior year of college for the College of Science and Math and my fraternity brother was my prince.
