Christina McGhee-Esquivel

Christina McGhee-Esquivel is a high school biology teacher in Oakland Unified School District. Her teaching practice focuses on using justice-centered practices to support all students to engage in science learning. She is interested in researching science learning and has collaborated with researchers to create and implement strategies that allow students to authentically connect with science concepts and achieve academic success.

Its exciting to be able to see scientists share their work and to collaborate with other science teachers to make similar experiences available to our own students.
