Mary Haddad

I am a high school science teacher who pursues research opportunities during the summers. I’m interested in using the intersection of natural and social sciences to solve problems in collaboration with others.

We’ve needed to give and receive constructive criticism about our approach to data analysis. It’s quite different from being the teacher who knows what the final result ought to be. .

It’s been validating to see how professional scientists and PhD candidates have approached problems in similar ways as I did in collaboration with other science teachers.

Fun fact:  I will passionately defend the importance of play at any age.
