Brooke Connell Dauwe

I have been teaching chemistry and biology for 10 years. I have participated in STAR and Ignited research programs in the past at SLAC and Stanford. I try my best to run my classroom like a science lab and to get students excited about doing science. 

This program is a thoughtfully designed professional development for science teachers to make connections and see themselves as teacher and a researcher. 

We get to learn about cutting edge science and make connections. I am hoping to have some scientists come visit my classes and connect with my students. 

Fun fact: I am an alumni of the school I teach.
